Role

As a Site Engineer you will travel multiple sites in the setting out control and installation points for our clients.

A high level of professionalism with the ability to handle a lot of information is crucial to this role. Strong time management and communication skills are essential to carry out the role as well as efficient organisational skills with the ability to administer tasks over multiple priorities. The ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations and comfortable working under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.

Responsibilities

- Providing technical advice in relation to the projects
- Applying designs and plans to mark out the site
- Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
- Determining the location of above and under-ground infrastructural installations
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
- Making proposals for resolving unexpected technical difficulties
- Attending site meetings

Requirements

- A Degree / HND in engineering or other relevant disciplines
- A current valid CSR / CSCS Card
- A minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience
- Strong experience of Setting Out/Levels experience
- Reinforced concrete works experience
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of BIM an advantage
