Role

As a Scanning Surveyor you will travel multiple sites in the region laser scanning installation and processing verity reports and dashboards to our clients on a weekly basis identifying risk to install and as built information.

A high level of professionalism with the ability to handle a lot of information is crucial to this role. Strong time management and communication skills are essential to carry out the role as well as efficient organisational skills with the ability to administer tasks over multiple priorities. The ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations and comfortable working under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient.

Responsibilities

- Laser scanning for different trades in construction.
- Ability to understand and complete survey capture and control works.
- Prepare and analyse data for scanning and reporting..
- Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices such Laser scanning and drone technology.
- Perform detailed field and office surveying work.
- Utilisation of post processing software.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and various stakeholders, ensuring we deliver projects to exact customer requirements.

Requirements

- A Degree / HND in engineering or other relevant disciplines
- A current valid CSR / CSCS Card
- A minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience
- Strong experience of Setting Out/Levels experience
- Reinforced concrete works experience
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of BIM an advantage
